Delivery Information

We are dedicated to making the ordering and delivery process as straightforward and trouble-free as possible. Orders of small items such as firelighters and accessories will be delivered by a standard courier service, but larger items such as kiln-dried log crates and pallets of net bags will be delivered by a third-party haulage service. 

Delivery Charges

All items sold by JustFuel include delivery to the majority of UK postcode areas. Postcode areas not eligible for free delivery are listed below along with their respective surcharges. These surcharges will be automatically applied at checkout and can be seen before ordering by entering your postcode on the basket or checkout pages.

Delivery Times

Palletised deliveries should take place on the date which has been agreed with the haulier undertaking that delivery. It is the responsibility of the local delivery depot to keep to this date. If there is an attempt to delivery on a date which differs from the agreed one or it is attempted without having the delivery company agree this with you, you are within your rights to refuse the delivery and ask the haulier to return on an alternative day at no extra cost to you.

If you do not receive a call from the hauliers to book-in your delivery date within three days of placing your order, please contact us and we will arrange the booking in for you. Delivery usually takes place within 3 to 5 working days from the date of order.

Delaying Delivery

We are asked occasionally by our customers if delivery can be delayed or held until a later date. Unfortunately due to the high volume of orders we process, we are unable to do this and orders are processed and dispatched as they are received.

Delivery at Specified Time

We cannot arrange deliveries for a specif time but it may be possible to organise a morning or afternoon delivery, for a small surcharge. You will however need to contact us before placing your order to confirm the price and availability of this service.

Deliveries will otherwise take place between 8am and 6pm on weekdays. If you need an estimated time of arrival for your pallet delivery, please call us on the day your delivery will be made and we will request an ETA from the hauliers.

Unattended Deliveries

For delivery by pallet, if you’re not home on the agreed delivery date someone else will be needed to sign for the receipt of delivery. If no one is available to sign for the order, the consignment will be returned to the delivery depot. If you cannot be contacted regarding the redelivery, we will return the goods to our depot and your order will be cancelled. In both cases, a redelivery or cancellation will likely incur additional fees and charges.

Offloading Goods

The vast majority of deliveries are made with a vehicle which has a tail-lift. This is a motorised lift at the back of a truck which lowers a pallet to the ground. The pallets will then be moved around with a manual pallet truck. This pallet truck can only run on solid, level ground such as tarmac or concrete and movement over grass, loose stone/gravel or soil is not possible. The palletised deliveries are officially a kerbside service and delivery beyond this point is entirely at the discretion and ability of the delivery driver.

Delivery Restrictions

There are circumstances in which delivery by pallet cannot be made. Examples of this are:

  • On soft ground such as grass, gravel or soil
  • To a premises where it’s illegal to park or offload
  • Where access is on a steep incline
  •  Where the access road doesn’t provide 3 metres of width clearance and 5 metres vertical clearance
It is your responsibility to make sure that there is safe access for the vehicle making the delivery. If the hauliers attempt to make the delivery and are subjected to any of the conditions above, the driver may decide to abandon the delivery and you are likely to receive a redelivery fee as a result. If you have any restrictions or are unsure if your access is suitable, contact us and we will offer advice.
